We are happy to announce that GPSS has been selected as one of two schools in Ontario to win the Staples Super Power Your School contest for Environmental Leadership!  This monetary award will allow us to add technology upgrades throughout the school including digital signage and computer equipment provided by Staples. 

For many years Glenview staff and students have been involved in both in-class and whole-school initiatives geared towards environmental education and sustainability.  Some of our bigger initiatives include Earth Hour and energy reduction, the 1000 Acts of Green Earth Week Challenge, E-Waste – Styrofoam  – Scrap Metal Recycling, Community Gardens and outdoor classroom projects as well as an extensive horticulture program.
