We are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2024 at the GPSS Convocation on Thursday, June 27 at Tapestry Hall, 74 Grand Avenue South in downtown Galt.
What follows is some important information for graduates and their families:
– Grads who have not already done so should pick up their grad package in the main office (cap, gown).
– The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Grads must arrive at 5:30 pm with cap and gown, and proceed to the Tap Room. The Main Hall will be open to families, starting at 5:30 pm.
– Bring your tickets with you. These will be verified and collected at the door. No additional tickets are available at this time.
– Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling. Parking spaces at the Hamilton Theater are off limits (there is a show that evening, therefore you will be ticketed). Please see parking information at the following link.
– Families may consider photo opportunities before and after the ceremony, in the public square beside The Foundry. During the ceremony, there will be some space reserved for the purpose of taking photographs.
– Each graduate and each family will receive one copy of the Commencement program booklet.
– We anticipate the ceremony will take approximately two hours.
