Greetings Grade 8 Students!

On Wednesday, January 5, Glenview will be hosting a (virtual) Grade 8 Night.  Grade 8 students and their families can choose one of two timeslots that evening:

6:00 pm to 6:45 pm

7:00 pm to 7:45 pm.

The agenda for the evening will include:

  • Welcome and Introductions
  • Tour of the Grade 8 ‘Hyperdoc’ (found on the GPSS website; click the “Future Grade 9s” button, top left)
  • Video Tour of the School, featuring “Glen” the Grade 8 Panther
  • Overview of Grade 9 Program (compulsory subjects and elective options)
  • Destreaming
  • Meet our Student Leaders:  Co-Prime Ministers
  • Student Activities Council (SAC) presents clubs, school events, and athletics
  • School Map
  • Magnet Programs (Fast Forward & International Baccalaureate):  Application processes and timelines
  • Questions
