For many years we have enjoyed a beautiful white pine out in front of the school. Unfortunately, the roots of the pine have grown into the sewer line, causing back-ups. Consequently, both the white pine and a nearby Manitoba maple, will be removed. The WRDSB has a “two for one” policy regarding tree removal. As a result, four trees will be planted on our campus in the spring. Work to repair the sewer is scheduled for the winter break.
