This Monday is Hallowe’en. We would like to remind students that the dress code is in effect. We are encouraging our students to make thoughtful decisions regarding costumes. Please do not wear a mask to school. Also, do not carry any plastic weapons as part of a costume. We don’t allow weapons, real or fake, to be brought to school on any day, including Hallowe’en. Costumes should not have offensive messages on them. If it wouldn’t be okay on a t-shirt any other day, then it’s not okay on Hallowe’en. Finally, if an outfit is representative of a person’s culture or religion it should not be worn as another person’s costume.
