High school students: are you ready to get active and represent your school?

This spring, Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA) will be hosting a series of virtual fitness events and challenges for all our secondary school students and staff to participate together, break a sweat and put a focus on our well-being. The events include yoga, full body workout, and agility and coordination.

By participating in these events, you will earn points for your school. A winner will be selected from each of these three areas: Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo/Surrounding Areas. Your school could win the WCSSAA Spring Championship for your community!

Students in Grades 9 to 12 do not need to have previously been a WCSSAA athlete to participate – this is for all students.

All participants will be entered into a draw to win some sweet WCSSAA swag. Don’t miss out!

First Virtual Event: Yoga

Our first virtual event will be a yoga session on Wednesday, April 28 at 7pm. Ms. Lemon, who is a teacher at Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School (SJAM), along with being a WCSSAA coach and yoga instructor, will lead participants through this workout.

Interested in participating in the workout? Register now. A link to the virtual event will be emailed to you on the day of the yoga session. All participants will be entered into a draw for a WCSSAA t-shirt.
