This information is for all Grade 9 students at Glenview.  This afternoon or this evening, you will receive a phone call from the school indicating if you are in Cohort A or Cohort B.  Or, you will also receive this information in an email to your WRDSB gmail account (using the same account as you used in Grade 8).

 

Cohort A students will have their Grade 9 orientation day on Wednesday, September 9.

Cohort B students will have their Grade 9 orientation day on Thursday, September 10.

 

Grade 9 orientation will begin at 8:15 am.  Please arrive at Glenview at approximately 8:00 am, in time for this 8:15 start.

 

Our front parking lot is currently under construction.  Therefore, students should enter the back parking lot off Henry Street, and proceed to the rear of the school.  Following physical distancing guidelines and markers, please proceed to the outdoor information tables where a GPSS staff member will take care of you, and direct you to your assigned entrance and your classroom.

 

Be sure to bring the following items with you:

• a mask (you must wear a mask at all times in the school)
• your lunch (you won’t be able to leave the school for lunch or purchase food at school)
• something to drink (re-fillable water bottles are encouraged).  Also bring
• your charged Chromebook (don’t worry if you haven’t picked up your Chromebook yet; we’ll help you.)

 

Parents dropping students off by car must follow the directional arrows at the side of the school, and exit our driveway at Ravine Drive.

 

Students will be dismissed at 12:45.
